Statutes
§ 1 OBJECTIVE
The association is a group for people who want to practice naturism together, which is a lifestyle in harmony with nature and is characterized by the practice of communal nudity. Its purpose is to encourage self-esteem and respect for others and the environment.
§ 2 TASK
The association's mission is to promote community between different generations, nationalities, and cultures through socializing, outdoor life, and sporting activities, as well as to create environments where the practice of communal nudity can be pursued uninhibitedly.
§ 3 MEMBERSHIP
Applications for membership must be made in writing. Applicants under the age of 18 must have written permission from their guardian. Membership is granted by the board. Members are entitled to vote provided that their membership fee has been paid. Any member who is eligible to vote and is at least 18 years of age is eligible for election to the board.
§ 4 EXCLUSION
Members who, through inappropriate behavior or in any other way, damage the association's activities or its objectives may be expelled by the board. Expelled members may, by submitting a written request to the association's board, have their expulsion reviewed by the annual meeting. Members who have been expelled due to non-payment of membership fees may be granted readmission by the board upon payment of the remaining fees. Members who have been expelled or have resigned are not entitled to any share of the association's assets, nor are they entitled to a refund of fees paid.
§ 5 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board shall consist of at least five members and at least three deputies with a term of office of two financial years. The chairperson and treasurer shall be elected separately and shall have overlapping terms of office. Other members shall also be elected alternately. The board shall meet when convened by the chairperson. The board shall hold at least four minuted meetings per financial year. The board shall constitute a quorum when at least three board members are present. The board shall keep members informed of decisions that are of major importance to the association.
§ 6 FINANCE
The financial year runs from January 1 to December 31. The association is represented by those appointed by the board. Real estate may not be sold or mortgaged without a decision being made at the annual meeting. Auditing is carried out by two auditors elected by the annual meeting with overlapping terms of office covering two financial years. Two deputy auditors are also elected by the annual meeting with the same term of office and in the same manner.
§ 7 ANNUAL MEETING
The annual general meeting is held every year in March. Motions must be submitted to the board by January 1. The board shall issue a notice of meeting together with an agenda, which shall be sent to members three weeks before the annual general meeting. Each member present and entitled to vote has one vote. The annual meeting appoints a nomination committee consisting of three members who propose candidates for the board, auditors, and deputy auditors. The following items must always be on the agenda for the annual meeting:
- Checking the electoral roll.
- Approval of the notice of meeting and adoption of the agenda.
- Election of chairperson, secretary, tellers, and vote counters.
- Presentation of the annual report and financial statements.
- Audit report and statement of responsibility.
- Decision on discharge from liability.
- Establishment of activity plan and budget.
- Determination of membership fees for the coming financial year.
- Election of board members, auditors, and deputies.
- Election of the Nomination Committee.
Extra annual meetings are held when the board deems it necessary.
§ 8 AMENDMENT OF THE STATUTES
Amendments to these statutes require a decision at two consecutive annual meetings held at least 60 days apart, at least one of which must be an ordinary meeting.
§ 9 DISSOLUTION
The association may only be dissolved following a decision at two consecutive annual meetings held at least 60 days apart, one of which must be an ordinary meeting at which more than two-thirds of the voting members are in favor of dissolution. Upon dissolution of the association, its assets shall, after all liabilities have been settled, be transferred to the Swedish Naturist Federation.
§ 10 AUDIT
This revision of the statutes was adopted at the annual meeting on March 9, 2013, and at the annual meeting on March 8, 2014.
